Meet Our Team

Hello, I am Tammy! I am from a small northern town in Ontario which is majority French speaking. I am a registered dental hygienist, class of 2000. I have many other certificates under my belt such as certified holistic nutritionist and certified acupuncturist. I am also attending Wild Rose College currently to become a master herbalist.

I have always taken a more holistic approach to dental hygiene. I take everything into consideration. I believe our whole digestive system starts in the mouth. We talk about the gut Microbiome, but at the end of the day Microbiome starts in your mouth. My goal is to educate people. More health, less big pharma.

Hi, I'm Kaycee! I've been with Roots on Whyte Dental since 2015. As a Registered Dental Assistant, I love to help and interact with patients. When I'm not assisting, I enjoy trying to convince my significant other to do home projects. I also love to spend time with my 7lb Maltese named Killer!

Hello, my name is Joy. I speak fluent Mandarin. I graduated from CDI college in 2017 where I received my diploma in Registered Dental Assisting. I have a passion for helping patients, being gentle and reassuring to them. I want you to be comfortable with the whole procedure.

When I am not working you can find me in my garden or hanging out with my two daughters.

Hi! my names Sammy, not Tammy. You might recognize me from the reception desk at Roots on Whyte Dental. I have been in the dental field for about 7 years now. I love interacting with our patients and helping you with booking your appointments and figuring out your insurance.

In my free time you can find me exploring the mountains, in my garden, being with friends and family or doing my side hustle of photography. I also have two big dogs, Jorge and Phil that take up a lot of my free time.

Hi! I'm Karizza! I was born and raised in the Philippines. I speak fluent English and Tagalog. My family moved to Canada in 2012. My background in the Philippines is I'm a Register Nurse. Since 2019 I have been working in the dental field. I love doing the daily administrative duties and I really enjoy the conversations that I get to have with all our patients. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family and friends.
